Episode three of Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots came out in full swing – pun intended! Although this episode was fairly causal compared to the previous two, the things that transpired in this episode are sure to bring on a series of events that are sure to make this an even more interesting and intense season!
Did you miss last week’s episode? No worries – The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E2 – The War Room. Make sure to catch up; the things that went down last week are important to this week!
This week of The Haves and the Have Nots begins with us finishing up on all of the craziness in the hotel room. Veronica Harrington was still slapping Maggie Day around and calling her all kinds of names while David Harrington was trying his best to break things up. When David gets gangster Veronica off of poor little Maggie and out of her room, Veronica throws a lamp at her. Alarmed by the noise, hotel security comes to check out the situation. Veronica straightens herself up, pushes David against the wall, opens the door, and fools hotel security into thinking that they had been “playing” and got too loud. Once security leaves David, with tears in his eyes, tries to explain that nothing happened between him and Maggie, but Veronica wouldn’t believe him. Poor David…
Then the episode focused on another gangster: Candice Young. She is still in the undisclosed area in the hood messing with Jim Cryer still and trying to persuade him sign those papers. Still refusing, she electrocutes him in his chair until he agrees, to which she says no; because of his hesitation and what he did to her, he will have to wait until she is ready for him to sign. She returns him back into the care of War, who continues to electrocute him.
Meanwhile on The Haves and the Have Nots 2015, Jeffrey Harrington wakes up to a knock on his door. Thinking that it’s the man Candice told him about, he opens the door and reaches out to kiss him. However in the process he doesn’t realize that it’s not the man Candice told him about at the door; it’s Benny Young! Benny almost kills poor Jeffrey trying to find out where Candice is. When a now embarrassed Jeffrey finally gets himself together and figures out what is happening, he tells her that he isn’t sure where she is. Benny calls her and finally answers, saying she’s handling business and will be fine because War and his goons are watching out for her. She also tried to apologize to Jeffrey, but he wouldn’t talk to her.
The next morning, Celine Gonzales arrives at the Cryer house and finds Wyatt Cryer asleep on the couch. Wyatt fakes a pass at Celine to confront her about her affair with Jim. Wyatt also tells Celine about the situation with Candice and Jim, which gets her even more hurt and angry than before, because she never knew that information until now.
While all of that is going on, Hanna Young is at home trying to get ready for work and Michael, who is still there, wakes up and won’t leave until she lets him help her clean up after the party last night. As Hanna is trying to tell him that he doesn’t have to stay and how much she enjoyed last night, Michael all of a sudden comes up and starts kissing on her, forcing Hanna to battle with temptation until the episode ends. We’ll have to wait until next week to see how things unravel!
Her mind’s telling her no, but her body is telling her yes! I had to add that R. Kelly reference; I couldn’t resist haha. Anyway…
In the end of The Haves and the Have Nots, Veronica gets to Jeffery’s apartment and breaks down. She tells Jeffrey that David slept with Maggie, and then tells Jeffrey it’s his fault because of him coming out as gay. In the middle of their conversation, Candice walks in. Of course she and Veronica exchange evil looks and smart-mouthed comments. Veronica tries to threaten Jeffrey with the car again if he didn’t make Candice get out, but she wouldn’t leave. Oddly enough, Veronica politely obliged and calmly left his apartment, which scares Jeffrey; he knows his mama! As soon as Veronica gets outside, she calls Quincy. Veronica tells him where Candice is and tells him she’s there with a man. But she has a little heart and explains that the man she is in the apartment with is her son, so he doesn’t need to kill him; just rough him up a little bit.
It’s getting crazy, y’all! Tune in next week to see what all goes down!
Oh, and by the way…..who in the heck got shot?!
