Hold up! You may wanna catch up on last week’s Have and Have Nots episode first – The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E8 – In Crisis.

This week starts off with poor Jeffrey Harrington getting beat up by the infamous Quincy. Quincy continues with the beating until Jeffrey finally gives him the password to his phone. When Jeffrey informs Quincy that Candice Young knows that he’s looking for him, he develops another plan. As Quincy attempts to make Jeffrey take him to Candice, he knocks him over the head with something, knocking him out of the door. Jeffrey locks the door on him. Unfortunately, Quincy is determined to wait for “Peaches” – the nickname he says that Jeffrey would have had in prison.

Hanna Young and Benny Young are headed home as they discuss what went down between Hanna and Candice. Benny tries to tell Hanna that Candice is on the right road, but Hanna lets him know that Candice is deceiving him. Benny also tries to find out why Tony was trying to take him off of life support. Benny gets upset that Tony, his own father, would do this to him. When they finally arrive at the house, they find Katheryn Cryer sitting on the steps. When they all get in the house, Katheryn tells Hanna how the whole situation still seems so unreal.

David Harrington is at the hotel when he runs into Maggie Day, who tries to get another chance with him. Being a good husband, David declines and goes to talk to Candice. He tries to warn Candice to just go on about her business, but Candice won’t listen to it. And he tells her, don’t be worried about what Jim Cryer can do – she needs to be worried about him. Uh oh – David’s a gangster too?!

When Katheryn gets home she and Jim have a discussion about Amanda and his mistakes. Katheryn busts his bubble by telling him that she knew that he was with Celine Gonzales when she was giving birth to Amanda. She follows that up by telling him to go ahead and have his little pity party, cause his day is coming.

Back at the apartment, Jeffrey is trying to clean himself up and figure out what to do next. Jeffrey unlocks his front door to discover that Quincy has apparently left.

Maggie shows up to David’s hotel room to talk about Candice. Maggie wants to try and reason with her. Dear Lord, help her….

Maggie goes to Candice’s room to talk. Surprisingly, Maggie offers to help Candice but Candice declines, telling her that she has nothing to offer her. But before Maggie can leave, Candice stops her and asks her to help her get a job as an attorney. When Maggie leaves she catches David and tells her about their discussion.

At the Cryer household, Wyatt Cryer is still struggling with the loss of his sister. He goes to her room, sits on her bed, and calls up Jennifer Sallison, asking her to come over to the house so he can discuss the details of the hit-and-run and give a confession.

Next week on Tyler Perry’s The Haves and the Have Nots, Quincy comes back to play with Jeffrey, Candice tells David about Veronica and how his son is in danger, and Jim and Hanna exchange a few words.
