Missed out on last week? The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E9 – A Talk with Jim.

This week’s Haves and the Have Nots episode started out with Landon and David Harrington. Landon tells David how he’s sorry for everything that happened at the press conference with him and Veronica Harrington, but he couldn’t help it – Veronica is a major heifer(true, true)! Then he goes on to tell David about how he’s a coward for letting Veronica do all this crazy stuff to Jeffrey Harrington, who they need to accept for who he really is. Now, how is Landon gonna try to tell David what to do about HIS son?? Especially since David isn’t the one who is keeping Jeffrey from being who he is! Landon – get yo life!

Later on, David, a newly re-hired Landon, and Maggie Day discuss Candice Young. As they are talking, Candice shows up and they give her the information about the law firm that she asked Maggie for last week. After they finish exchanging pleasantries with Ms. Young, David and Maggie leave the hotel. When David tells her that they can just ride in the same car, Maggie has flashbacks of getting her tail handed to her by Veronica and opts out, but David apparently loves pushing his wife’s buttons, and tells Maggie to come on anyway. You know Maggie wasn’t about to pass that up! As they depart, David spots the man at the bar that has been eyeing Candice for the past two episodes. Although the man looks familiar to him, David just shrugs it off and continues to exit the hotel.

Once Maggie and David are gone, the man, Oscar, gets up and approaches Candice, who had just finished up making her calls to the law firm. He tries to see what she’s about and she tells him that she’s a prostitute and her services cost $25,000 an hour. What kind of prostitute is she?! But anyway, we’ll get back to that in a second.

Meanwhile at the Cryer household, Hanna Young is at the house taking care of the house and her friend, Katheryn Cryer. Things are smooth sailing until Celine Gonzales shows up. She comes up to Hanna, asking who owns the car parked outside. When Hanna tells her that it’s her car, Celine tries to get smart, talking about “Well I work here and you’re in my parking spot!” Hanna reminds her that she’s been fired, but Celine swats her off and tells her that she didn’t have time for games; she had a job to do. Celine, Celine…..*shaking my head*

Hanna goes back to tending to Katheryn, who is still grieving the loss of her daughter, Amanda Cryer. Hanna is trying to comfort Katheryn and give her advice on how to get through when Celine comes back in, raising cane once again. She and Katheryn exchange words and Jim Cryer shows up. Celine tries to get Jim on her side with everything, but Jim tells Celine to get out. She just does like she always does – looks at Jim crazy and makes a dramatic exit. Something is wrong with that woman….

Then we get to catch up with Benny Young, who is looking at the towing stuff that was put up for auction. While he and his friend are drooling over all of the stuff, his phone rings – it’s Erica, the girl who sold him the car. At first he thought she was calling because she changed her mind about the car (it’s been over 24 hours), but she just wanted his address, claiming that she needed to get a book out of the car…..Mmmmhmm…..

Back at the Cryer house, Hanna and a cleaning crew are busy at work trying to get Amanda’s room cleaned up, when Jim walks into the room wondering what’s going on and why these people are touching Amanda’s stuff. Jim yelled at everyone to get out, so Hanna ushers everyone out of Amanda’s room, telling them that it’s okay. When he gets to her, he tells her that she needs to get out too! Not only that, but he told her that she had no business touching Amanda’s house and when she sees him, she doesn’t need to speak to him. Hanna said, “Shut up you demon!” and started casting that demon out of Jim! When she leaves, Jim stays in Amanda’s room and breaks down crying. As Jim is sitting there crying, Wyatt Cryer is standing at the door watching, thinking how messed up his father is.

Back at the hotel, Oscar, who had to leave for a second after hearing Candice’s prices, returns with $100,000, telling her he wants four hours with her….?! Apparently she sees right through him (she gets seductively close to him and he doesn’t get turned on) and doesn’t take him up on his offer. After that, Landon comes over and tells Candice that he did some research on Oscar and found out that he’s a stock broker who is actually really wealthy. Candice begins to change her mind about Oscar then! Guess she wants the D!

Landon calls Jeffrey, but Quincy – who stole his phone an episode or two ago – answers the phone. At first Landon doesn’t realize it isn’t Jeffrey, but when he does he tells Candice. Candice tries to call Jeffrey’s phone, but it goes straight to voice mail. Landon tells Candice David’s room number, and she pays him a visit. When David answers the door, Candice lets him have it – Veronica is crazy, she’s up to some foul stuff, and Jeffrey is in danger – check on him! David doesn’t believe anything she says, but he told her he’ll check on Jeffrey because he’s his son, but if Candice has anything to do with Jeffrey being in trouble, he’s coming for her.

While that’s going on, Hanna gets home from work to find Tony, Benny’s father in the house! Benny asks his dad why he wanted to pull the plug, and Tony gives his this story about him thinking that Benny wasn’t gonna wake up and him not wanting him to be a vegetable. Benny knows that isn’t the whole truth, and so does Hanna – they both try to get him to tell the real story, but Tony just leaves the house.

Finally, it’s confession time! DA  Jennifer Sallison and another detective that is working on the case with her to meet up with Wyatt to discuss his confession. He tells everything, which is what ‘ole Jenny has been searching for all along! Meanwhile, Jim broke down and started crying on Hanna…..what’s that all about..?

Next week on The Haves and the Have Nots, the authorities show up to Veronica’s house. Did Wyatt tell them about the car? We’ll find out next week!
