Tonight’s episode of Tyler Perry’s series, The Haves and the Have Nots was RIDICULOUS! So much action was packed into one episode – you won’t believe it! We get to finish the rest of the scandal that’s rocking Savannah, while also seeing a few of our other characters show a side of themselves we haven’t seen before! Who will turn the town on it’s head?
You know you’re gonna be lost if you didn’t see last week’s recap, right? The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E21 – Candace’s Closing.
When this episode of The Haves and the Have Nots starts, Celine Gonzales and her family is on air. Celine starts off by saying that “she doesn’t want to be here.” The interviewer, Dianna Winchill, also notes that they did DNA tests on both boys, proving that they are in fact Jim Cryer’s children. Carlos Gonzales then tells the cameras that Jim can’t even handle his own household, so he would obviously be a terrible governor. Maggie Day was trying to get the cameraman to cut everything off, but he wouldn’t do it. That means that all of Georgia saw the entire interview! Jim, Katheryn Cryer, and David Harrington were all stunned and speechless, but Veronica Harrington was just sitting back, smiling at the whole thing. She either is just really tickled, or had something to do with this!
In the middle of the interview, Maggie took a drink and spilled it all over the equipment, causing the channel to go out, and kicked everyone out. When everyone went back into the office, Veronica made a snide remark about Jim’s double life, which set Maggie off, telling her that she needs to check her own business too – you know that made Veronica angry. She then revealed to Katheryn that David was having an affair (which we all know isn’t true), which was one more thing that Katheryn wasn’t in on – now you know she isn’t really your friend! Jim told her to get out, so Veronica asked Jim, “How was Wyatt’s stay?” Jim put the pieces together and put his hands around her neck! David, who had gone into his office after being confronted about his mythical affair, came out and threw Jim off of Veronica, telling Jim that “he better not ever put his hands on his wife again.” Jim said, “Well somebody needs to,” causing David to storm out with Veronica. Ain’t that a mess!
Then we see Quincy at his sister, Quita’s, house. His sister was fussing about how he needs to get better so he can go get Little Quincy back, handle everybody, and bring the boy back to her house so she can get her check. A police officer arrives at the house while they’re talking and asks Quita if she knows where Quincy is and about the care of Little Quincy. She plays dumb until the officer leaves, then telling Quincy to handle the situation “like they used to back in the day.” Oh Lord….
Back at the Cryer house, Benny Young picks Hanna Young up from work in her new car (remember he wrecked her other one). He gave her a tour of the tow yard and then took her to their new house. Benny told her that the owner of the tow company that “he’s partnering with” threw in the house along with the tow yard. Benny asked her to move in with him, but Hanna said it didn’t feel right – you better listen to the Holy Ghost, girl! He finally convinces her to stay one night, so she can decide what she wants to do. This is actually pretty convenient since Quincy is getting ready to be on the prowl again. Benny also surprises her with a new wardrobe and everything.
After dinner, Benny tried to talk to Hanna about letting Candice have Little Quincy. When Hanna told Benny about Candice’s job not checking out, he couldn’t believe it – now he’s second-guessing Candice.
Jeffrey Harrington is in his hotel room watching Wyatt Cryer sleep, when Landon shows up wanting to talk. Landon tries to apologize and tell him that he misses him, but Jeffrey just tells him that he’s really not into him – he knows he’s still crazy about Wyatt. But, Landon doesn’t give up! While they’re talking, Veronica shows up. Landon tries to leave, but Jeffrey told him to stay. Then he tells her that he’s over the charade and she can do whatever she wants. Then he goes and kisses Landon in front of her! Veronica just walked away! When she leaves, Jeffrey tells Landon that he still isn’t completely over Wyatt and needs time. Landon just hands him a bottle of wine and leaves.
Meanwhile, Candice Young was showing the social worker around the house – of course Oscar was there. The social worker basically puts all of Candice’s information in her face – her being an escort, her lying about her job, and the mysterious way in which she bought the house. Candice was at a loss for words, but Oscar came in and saved the day, telling the social worker that he bought the house and gave her money to ensure that she and her son were taken care of. He also claimed that he was in love with Candice and had her put in her account information so he could wire her a million right there on the spot! Candice was mad at him for lying so easily, but they made up and went out to celebrate. This is too much….what is really up with Oscar? Hanna later checks and sees that Oscar really did send her the money like he said. They wound up fornication, like always…
Back at the campaign office, David and Maggie visit Jim in his office. Maggie, who was blindsided by the whole situation and lost control, told Jim that he should give up his bid for office. When she leaves, David and Jim talk. David tells Jim that he knows he’s up to something, and if he touches Veronica, “he will have an enemy like he’s never seen,” and walks out. As soon as he leaves, Jim gets on the phone and talks to someone, telling them that he wants the officer, the professor, and Veronica dead – “he wants a bloodbath!”
Next week on The Haves and the Have Nots, everybody is confronting everybody, and Quincy attacks the social worker! You won’t wanna miss it!
