This week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s popular series The Haves and the Have Nots was another great one! People are angry, crazy in love, feeling themselves a little too much, and just a tad bit crazy! The episode started off a bit slow, but by the end you know without a doubt that some stuff is going to go down next week on the finale! Who will make it out alive??
Hate it for you if you missed last week’s episode! The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E23 – Vetted.
We return to The Haves and the Have Nots with Hanna Young and Katheryn Cryer at her house that was just engulfed in flames (she just had to let her insurance go a few weeks ago, unfortunately – she gave it up to take care of Benny Young when he was in a coma). The chief firefighter told her that they would investigate, so hopefully they will be hot on Quincy’s trail soon.
While Hanna and Katheryn were standing there, Benny shows up. When she tells him what happened, Benny snaps because he immediately knows that Quincy did this. Hanna was heartbroken – she spent “her whole adult life” paying for that house, and just like that it was gone. So sad.
At the campaign office, Jim Cryer is on the phone, asking that “the deed” be done today – uh oh! Once he gets off the phone, Maggie Day walks in with his revised resignation speech. They exchange un-pleasantries and his phone rings again – he informs the person that everyone dies today, and that Veronica Harrington should go last.
Back at Candice Young’s house, she receives a truckload of flowers from Oscar. While she’s getting her flowers, Jeffrey Harrington shows up to visit her. She asks Jeffrey to move in, but he hesitates, wondering how she was able to get all this stuff so soon.
Then we see Maggie Day and David Harrington talking about Veronica. David tries to tell her that he’s faithful to his wife and “she’s faithful to him.”
Anyway, Maggie shows him a pamphlet about him possibly running for governor. He gets upset about it, because he wants to be loyal to Jim. David is loyal to a TRAGIC fault. I want him to stab somebody in the back at least one time. Just ONCE!
Later, Jim shows up to Celine Gonzales’ house and seduces her, telling her he loves her – and she believes him! Celine…why are you so dumb?! Ugh!!!
Candice and Jeffrey head over to Benny’s tow yard to find him – he hasn’t been answering Candice’s calls. While looking around, Jeffrey discovers his car and takes a mental note – he still doesn’t know his mama is sleeping with Benny, though.
On her way back from Hanna’s house, Katheryn calls Veronica to reschedule for tea. Someone comes to the door while Veronica is on the phone, so the two women hang up. When Veronica opens the door, she discovers Maggie on the other side! Oh, by the way, Katheryn is on to Veronica – she knows she’s hiding something, and she’s going to get to the bottom of it!
Anyway, back to Maggie and Veronica: Veronica, of course, talks a bunch of trash to Maggie, but the tables turn when Maggie shows her the file folder of pictures. Maggie then tells her that she needs Veronica’s help to convince David to run for governor. Veronica tells her that she must want to be first lady, telling her that she notices how she looks at David – “she pants like a b***h in heat.” DAAANG!
Veronica threatens to kill her if she doesn’t get out of her house. Maggie just decides to tell her how much she does like him, but no matter how hard she tried, he always rejected her because he loves her. Maggie warned her, if Veronica keeps being mean and doing crazy stuff to David, “the kisses she(Veronica) doesn’t want will be all over my(Maggie) body.” Ooooweee! Maggie did that! Broke Veronica all the way down!
Back at the Cryer house, DA Jennifer Sallison calls Wyatt Cryer, who completely changes his tune – remember he got ‘beyond scared straight’ a few episodes ago. She tells him how she knows everything about Jim taking him to jail and how Veronica put the guy who raped him in the cell with him. She also tells him that she’ll make a deal with him: if he testifies against his parents and the Harringtons, he won’t get any jail time for his crimes.
Candice and Jeffrey show up to the hospital to see Little Quincy and the social worker. While Candice was talking to the social worker, Jeffrey calls Wyatt to let him know that he found the car. The social worker then tells her about Quincy showing up to the room. The social worker asks to see her son, but she tells her that she can’t; she just asks them to call her when they find out if the courts have made a decision and runs off. Her boss shows up, telling her how Quincy has been asking about Hanna – they are starting to think that Candice really doesn’t care about having her son.
Then we return to Jim and Celine after their….well, you know. Celine is just completely sprung, it’s disgusting. When she asks when she can come back to work and how they can fix the situation, Jim tells her that it can’t be fixed and she can’t come back to work. He told her straight up that he only came so he could “screw her like the $2 whore she is,” that she’s gullible, pathetic, and that he never loved her. He also called her one of the lowest people he’s ever met. Then he told her to go to hell. Oh yeah, then he old her he’d arrange child support for “that little b*s**d, and it won’t be much.” Jim is really on one! He is truly a monster! Let her sitting there, half-dressed and looking crazy.
When Benny and Hanna got back home, they talk about who ran into the house. Benny knows it was Quincy, but Hanna believes Candice did it. While she was thinking it over, the Holy Ghost put everything together – she called Quincy out for not telling her the truth and told her that Candice bought her the house and got her the tow yard. And then he told her about the job not being real. That’s when everything finally hit Benny – Candice manipulated him. Hanna then told him to take her to Candice’s house – now!
Next week on The Haves and the Have Nots, we found out what David decided to do, Hanna confronts Candice, and some folks get blasted! See you next time!
