Wait! Don’t read any further until you have caught up on all of the happenings from last week – The Haves and the Have Nots 2015 Recap: S3 E5 – The Press Conference
This week of The Haves and the Have Nots started off with Jim Cryer, who was still on the bus trying to get home.
Meanwhile, Katheryn Cryer, and the Harringtons rush to the Cryer house to find out what’s going on. Wyatt Cryer goes on another diatribe about his no-good father and yells at everyone. Oddly enough, Hanna Young is the only one who can calm him down. Jeffrey Harrington then tries to comfort Wyatt, when Veronica Harrington walks in the room to see what he’s doing. When she tries to tell Jeffrey to let Wyatt go, he grabs harder, upsetting both Veronica and Melissa, who give each other haunting looks. Something is up with those two; I don’t know what it is, but something is up!
Celine Gonzales for some reason has an attitude with everyone begs and the policemen to be sent home. A distraught and frustrated Katheryn throws a vase of flowers at Celine and then slaps Wyatt. Before a physical altercation can break out between the mother and son, David pulls Katheryn back and Jeffrey pulls Wyatt back, moving him into the kitchen. Veronica tells Melissa to follow.
Benny Young and Candice Young are in the hotel talking about her newfound fortune. Candice gives him a story about her passing the bar, getting a job, and getting all of the money. It’s not adding up in Benny’s head but he just goes with it and tries to trust that his sister is doing it the right way.
While in the kitchen, Wyatt rejects Jeffrey’s offer of water and grabs some alcohol. Most likely still extremely drunk from the night before and full of emotions, he starts talking to Melissa, asking her if she knows that Jeffrey is in love with him. When she admits to him that she found out earlier through Landon that he was in fact gay, he asked her why she was still there. The only answer she could give was that she “didn’t want to be rude.” Yeah, okay…
After that she decides to wait outside for the ride that David called to come get her.
Finally Jim finds a ride home. While heading to the campaign headquarters, the lady who gave him a ride lets him know about Amanda. They reroute and hurry to the Cryer house so he can find out what’s going on. Jim tells David Harrington about Candice kidnapping him and extorting money from him. He also tells David that all of this is Candice’s fault and this has started a new war that she will not win if he can help it.
Later on, the authorities ask everyone to come into the living room. They inform everyone that nobody can leave until the DA arrives. When Veronica and David ask why they need a DA for a suicide, they let them and the rest of the family know that Amanda did not commit suicide – she was murdered! Plot twist!
Now we have a few new questions:
- What is REALLY up with Melissa (and Veronica)?
- Will Candice reap what she has been sowing for so long?
- What will happen with the campaign?
- What is up with Celine?
- Where’s Quincy?
- WHO KILLED AMANDA??!!
Guess we’ll have to wait until next week to see what all goes down! *Spoiler Alert* Apparently Katheryn drags Celine like Portia did Kenya on Real Housewives! See you next week!
